Embassy of Algeria in Jakarta Discusses Enhancing Tourism Cooperation with the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies Alliance (AITTA)

Ms. Salma Harrouche, First Secretary at the Embassy of Algeria in Jakarta, received today, Monday, September 14, 2026, at the embassy headquarters, a delegation from the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (AITTA). This meeting is a follow-up to the consultations that began on the sidelines of the Jakarta Muslim-Friendly Tourism Forum.

The meeting addressed ways to enhance Algerian-Indonesian cooperation in the tourism sector, related professional and commercial cooperation, as well as opportunities for collaboration in the fields of training and education.

The discussions also focused on identifying practical and actionable areas of cooperation to boost tourism exchange, mutually promote the Algerian and Indonesian destinations, and develop partnerships between stakeholders in both countries.
